Crews are scheduled to begin work on the Mill Creek Drive road resurfacing project on Monday, Nov. 4. Preparatory work is expected to take about a week, with the actual paving set to begin Nov. 11. Roadway striping will be done when construction is complete.
One lane of travel is expected to remain open throughout the project. Flaggers will be onsite and signage will be clearly posted to direct traffic during the road work. Some delays will occur while the repaving work is being done.
Rather than replace the chipseal on the roadway, the Moab City Council has approved installing new asphalt on Mill Creek Drive. This roadway resurfacing will provide a smoother and longer-lasting surface for this heavily traveled road.
The Mill Creek Drive resurfacing is expected to be completed by the end of November.
