PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED ORDINANCE 2026-08
The City of Moab Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Moab City Offices at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah.
The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public input on Proposed Ordinance 2026-08 – An Ordinance Amending Moab Municipal Code, Title 17, Chapter 17.21 C-2 Commercial -Residential Zone and 17.09 Supplementary Requirements and procedures applicable within Zones. The proposed amendments would decrease setbacks and landscaping requirements for mixed-use buildings in the C-2 zone, clarify parking requirements for adaptive infill, and allow fee-in-lieu for parking spaces in the C-2 zone. The public is invited to review and inspect all information available concerning such proposal(s) at the Moab City Offices during regular office hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday. The public or any interested parties may present written or oral testimony to the Moab City Planning Commission concerning the proposed action at the aforementioned time and place.
